The House
Casa el Zorzal is a gem in the heart of Extremadura's countryside. It dates back to 1860, and is surrounded by oaks and olive trees, on a 10,000 m2 estate, with privileged views of the Extremadura countryside. The rural house has a 4* category and has all the luxury of details.
The area is called Sierra de los Lagares, belonging to the hamlet of Pago de San Clemente, a few kilometres from Trujillo, Cáceres or Mérida. This place is one of the areas with the greatest biodiversity in Europe, being a natural paradise for ornithology, with the Monfragüe National Park. It is also a wonderful area to enjoy astro-tourism due to the scarce light pollution.

Our country house maintains its traditional charm, still conserving the typical vaults of the area. In its 380 m2 of interior space it has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and capacity for 10 people (and their pets). Outside, surrounded by olive trees, holm oaks and other fruit trees, there is a swimming pool, several relaxation areas and, for the more active, a mini-football pitch.

Casa el Zorzal is located just a few kilometres from cities full of history and heritage treasures such as Trujillo, Cáceres, Guadalupe and Mérida. A short distance away is the Monfragüe National Park, a paradise for ornithologists, or the Villuercas-Ibores-Jara Geopark, near Guadalupe.
