A few years ago we fell in love with the Trujillo countryside of olive trees and holm oaks located in Sierra de las Viñas, Pago de San Clemente in Extremadura. We were looking for a place to disconnect from the city as we were both working in Madrid, and on one of our trips we found the incredible opportunity to restore El Zorzal, where we could spend our weekends.
El Zorzal had been abandoned for a little over 10 years. We decided to start the project with the idea of enjoying the house with our family and friends. A short time later, and in view of the welcome of all those who shared time with us in the house, we saw the opportunity to offer the house to other people. That is why we decided to convert it into a rural house. Our aim is that our guests can feel at home during the time they spend at El Zorzal, just as we and our friends and family do.
The incomparable sunsets, contemplate the species of birds that fly over the area, enjoy the views towards the peak of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Trujillo or the Sierra de Gredos, are some of the experiences that we want to share with you.
